Wat Prayoon’s khao mor (a manmade mountain usually found in the old gardens of Siamese royals and nobles) is one of the most elaborate of its kind in Bangkok. The 180-year-old structure, constructed with piled-on stones and rocks, is surrounded by miniaturized temples and Chinese pagodas sitting atop a turtle-filled lake. The whole area is girdled by greenery, making wandering around the khao mor a pleasant experience.
