In the framework of the exhibition ‘The Ghost War’, artist Sung Tieu will present an artist talk as part of the closing event for the show. Tieu is one of the two artists who make up the show, along with Rohini Devasher. Her works ‘Song For Unattended Items’ and ‘No Gods, No Masters’ explore the long history of the American War in Vietnam, entangling personal, political, ecological and historical narratives. Her talk will provide an introduction to her practice, her methodologies and modes of engagement as an artist, both in her solo practice and her collective work in Berlin, London and elsewhere. The talk will be followed by a conversation with curator Abhijan Toto and a Q&A.
