The performance artist’s latest work, created exclusively for the Bangkok Art Biennale, will be showcased in malls along Sukhumvit and venues by the river. Meanwhile, Nova Contemporary is reviving Kawita’s previous show, which was showcased at the 57th Venice Art Biennale, bringing it out of a white-walled space to the lush courtyard of Anantara Siam hotel. In this set of moving images, Kawita examines the socio-cultural belief on women’s rights by using her body to represent household appliances.
