Time Out says

Check in to the art fair that transforms hotel rooms into galleries, which returns to Bangkok for the eighth year at the InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit from Sep 6-8.

And the art isn’t just on the walls, but on beds, in wardrobes and even in the bathtubs.

The Hotel Art Fair will see 30 rooms at the InterContinental packed with paintings, sculptures and installations by artists from Thailand and across the Asia-Pacific region.

The artists will shine a light on what it means to be human in a world coming to terms with the artificial intelligence revolution.

Local artists include Pomme Chan, who combines illustration with interior design, and Turn Kanama & Friends, who blend pop culture with bold creativity in street art and digital innovation.

Oat Pramote Pathan, the singer and art lover, is one of the celebrity curators. And galleries featured include Bangkok Citycity Gallery, De' Lapae Art Space Narathiwat and Street Star Gallery.

Farmgroup, the design consultancy behind the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s new logo and branding, is behind the fair, which is open from 11am to 10pm.

Entry is free but visitors can support artists and galleries by purchasing their prints and paintings – or even budget-friendly items such as stickers and keychains.

Recently, Bangkok has seen the rise of events showcasing artists such as the Mango Art Festival, Bangkok Art Fair and Bangkok Art Biennale, which connect local artists to their audiences.
