House of Cards

This American TV drama is based on the novel of the same name by Michael Dobbs (1989). The whole series focuses on the brain-racking political schemes of Frank Underwood, played by Kevin Spacey, who successfully aims for the presidency—and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. This six-season show will surely snatch your attention with its plot twists and incredible performances.

Snowpiercer

This series picks up where the original film of the same name by Bong Joon-ho (2013) left off. Seven years later, the world is still completely frozen, making it impossible for humans to survive or even go outdoors, hence the Snowpiercer, a 1,001-carriage moving shelter that whisks people around the world. The series has been acclaimed for how it portrays class issues, and for its gory and action-filled scenes. It is starring Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs.

Colony

This American sci-fi/action series is set in a dystopian world where invading extraterrestrials have divided society into two colonies.
