Or sit back on one of the loungers, which look, uninterrupted, out to the ocean. The rooms include a large flat-screen TV with DVD player, rain shower and free wifi. Some suites and villas even have a hot tub looking out to the ocean. It's next door to the fancy Ku De Ta restaurant, where you can get Western fare, such as wood-fired steak, as well as sushi, but there are also two restaurants onsite. Plus a fitness centre and spa.

9. Kayumas Seminyak Resort

The four-star Kayumas Seminyak Resort is so close to the beach, you can almost taste the lightly-salted air. Close to all the best bars and restaurants, and the incredible shopping areas of Seminyak, you'll have plenty of options for what to do outside of the hotel, but to be honest, you won't want to leave the stunning premises.
