Time Out says

Come rain, hail or shine, Sun Pictures is where Broome locals and backpackers alike gather for a truly unique cinema experience. Claim your spot under the stars at the world’s oldest operating picture garden, which is mostly undercover, so you’re covered if the weather turns. There are two sessions each night: a family-friendly 6.15pm screening perfect for little ones, and a later 8.30pm to 9pm showing packed with action, thrills or laughs for grown-ups.

The food and drink options are just as much a part of the experience as the films themselves. Stock up on popcorn, lollies and housemade choc bombs from the kiosk, and don’t forget to grab a soft drink or sparkling wine to sip during the movie.
