Time Out says

Take the wheel as the captain of your own eight-seater electric boat for a peaceful cruise along Canberra’s stunning Lake Burley Griffin. You can soak up the charm of the city’s most renowned waterside landmarks, before choosing a perfect spot to pause for an on-water picnic.

Each GoBoat fits up to eight people (and dogs are welcome too), complete with comfy benches, a picnic table, cup holders and all the essential safety equipment. Best of all, no license is required. Boats start at just $99 for a one-hour cruise, with departures available from either Kingston Foreshore or Queen Elizabeth Terrace in Parkes.
