Now, to celebrate the release of his latest studio album, Defiant, the Adelaide-raised singer-songwriter is hitting the road for a nationwide tour this June, stopping in six of Australia’s capital cities. This exciting news comes just months after Barnes wrapped up Cold Chisel’s 50th anniversary tour.

Barnesy will kick off his Defiant tour in his hometown of Adelaide, before making his way from the west coast to the east. Dates include:

- Riverside Theatre, PCEC, Perth – June 8
- Palais Theatre, Melbourne – June 13 (new date) and 14
- The Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane – June 20 (new date) and 21

- Canberra Theatre, Canberra – June 28

After selling out shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra, Barnes has released second shows in both Melbourne (June 13) and Brisbane (June 20). Tickets go on sale on Thursday, March 20 at 3pm local time via the Frontier Touring website here.
