WOMADelaide, one of the world’s largest cultural festivals, has today added 25 international acts to its already impressive line-up. This global celebration of music, dance and art is like no other, bringing together performers from more than 30 countries in Adelaide’s beautiful Botanic Garden. Almost 100,000 festival-goers grooved among the trees at the 32nd edition, with the 2025 event set to feature even bigger names. Here’s everything you need to know about the festival line-up and how to secure your tickets.

What is WOMADelaide?

Since 1992, WOMADelaide – World of Music Arts and Dance – has been bringing together musicians, artists, dancers and thought-leaders from across the globe in Adelaide’s Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla. Known as the ‘world’s festival’, this four-day, open-air celebration hosts more than 30 countries, showcasing fresh talent alongside some of the world’s most accomplished musicians.

This festival isn’t just about the music though! Alongside electrifying concerts, it features a huge array of multicultural food and drink, a three-day conversational forum Planet Talks, a KidZone, and interactive art workshops for when you’re, you know, really feeling the music.

When is WOMADelaide 2025?

The 33rd edition of WOMAdelaide is set to rock Adelaide from Friday, March 7 to Monday, March 10. Sounds like the perfect excuse for a long weekend, don’t you think?

Where is WOMADelaide held?

WOMADelaide takes over Adelaide’s stunning Botanic Park – the original location it was first held way back in 1992. In past years, hundreds of artists have performed across eight stages spread throughout the 34-hectare park, which is an easy 20-30 minute walk from Adelaide’s city centre. You really can’t escape the magic (not that you’d want to)!
