If you thought walking down the middle aisle was dangerous, just wait until you hear this. On top of selling everything from jumbo-sized pickle jars, ski goggles, streetwear and pilates machines, Australia’s favourite bargain supermarket has now launched Aldi Holidays – an online platform offering wicked cheap travel deals to dreamy domestic and international destinations.
Just like their usual bi-weekly Special Buys, Aldi will roll out limited-time travel deals, which will be available until sold out. The online platform officially launched on October 2, with 16 epic travel packages to incredible destinations like the Whitsunday Islands, Surfers Paradise, Fiji, Thailand and Hawaii. But don’t let the bargain price fool you – Aldi’s teamed up with Ignite Travel Group to deliver the full frills experience, complete with room upgrades, tours, customisable experiences and flights.
Keen to snag a bargain escape? You can nab one of Aldi Holidays’ first-ever travel deals, including a five-night stay at Novotel Surfers Paradise from $499. Not only will you be staying just 150 metres from the beach, but you’ll also enjoy daily buffet breakfast, unlimited SkyPoint entry, a guaranteed room upgrade, late check-out and a welcome cocktail to kick off your holiday. Further north, you could escape to a four-star resort on the Whitsunday Islands, with a five-night stay going for less than $900.
Aldi is taking things global too with super cheap multi-day escapes to sunny destinations, like Thailand, Fiji, Vanuatu and Hawaii. Prefer to sail across the seas? Aldi Holidays also has two incredible cruise deals through the Pacific Islands or Japan, plus ten and 15-day tours in South Africa, Sri Lanka, Europe and China.
