Sixteen taquerias including Tacodeli and Papalote Taco House will be selling $2 tacos that range from traditional to contempoary. Connoisseurs might consider a VIP ticket, which gains early access to the food before the common folk (and two complimentary drinks). But the event's organizers encourage everyone to show up on time to get the best selection of tacos. If the pickings are meager, you can always come for the food and stay for the lunchtime entertainment: live music and lucha libre wrestling in the Austin American-Statesman's parking lot.
