Barks for Beers

A pint glass benefiting Divine Canines is your ticket to a free beer from 30 breweries through the month of May. Spend $20 to buy one and support the Austin-based group that provides free therapy dog services to abused children, wounded veterans, and elderly residents with dementia, among others. You can get the glasses—and accompanying "pawsports"—at most of the participating breweries, including Blue Owl Brewing, Hops and Grain, and Jester King. Thirsty Planet, which isn't open to the public during May, will be hosting an exclusive event for Barks for Beers participants once the brewery is operational. But we bet there are enough other taps to quench your thirst until then.
