Austin loves a good business operated out of a trailer, and bike repair and rental is no exception. If you find yourself in a bind with a flat tire or needing a tune-up while tooling around downtown, look for a shiny Airstream parked near the convention center. Streamline Cycles also rents Trek hybrid bikes that include lock, lights and helmets, and they’ll fit you and point you to some of the safest routes around town—including Town Lake trail, which is easily accessed behind their shop.
