Waller Creek Pop-Up Picnic

Fancy Uchiko al fresco? The famed Japanese farmhouse restaurant is one of about two dozen Austin favorites selling picnic baskets to benefit Waller Creek Conservancy at the fifth annual pop-up at Palm Park. Parisian sandwiches, salad, a cheese plate and macarons from Blue Dahlia Bistro cost $75 while, on the low end, Home Slice will deliver you a large pizza, lemonade and Rice Krispies treats for $40. (Sorry—the $200 baskets from Franklin Barbecue are already sold out if you were hoping to get some brisket without waiting in line for three hours.)
