Swift’s Attic is located just upstairs from Congress Avenue, Austin’s main artery. The space—which served as the second floor of Swift’s Premium Food in 1905—is a marriage of the building’s old bones with a touch of fairytale whimsy. The menus are a playful mix of New American and Korean—think Korean barbecue flank steak, with crispy kimchi rice cake, grilled scallion, sweet galbi sauce, fried eggs—and the cocktail list makes Swift’s a favorite happy-hour spot. Brunch is a great time to visit thanks to the make-your-own Bloody Mary bar and dishes like the TCB (brioche french toast, peanut butter, house cured bacon, salted caramel bananas).
