It may only be Tuesday, but we're already in need of some liquid relief—preferably that of the alcoholic variety. Thankfully, Austin's bars and restaurants keep us hydrated with some pretty stellar happy hour options, with new ones popping up every week. Here are a few HH newbies that are worth checking out.

The Brewer's Table: The recently-opened Brewer's Table is still waiting on their beers to be ready, but in the meantime you can stop by for a solid happy hour featuring both booze and small plates. Sip on cocktails for $10, draft wines for $6 and a selection of beer for $3-$4. Some of our favorite snacks include the fried new potatoes with aioli ($5) and the larder board ($10), a behemoth selection of meats, cheeses, beer mustard and warm bread. Daily 3-6pm

Academia: This downtown cocktail bar opened at the end of 2017 and just released a new happy hour menu—plus a list of shareable snacks. Enjoy expertly made classic cocktails for just $6, like a bourbon old-fashioned or French 75, or highballs for $5 (the Kalimotxco includes Spanish red wine, Mexican Coca-Cola and cinnamon). Snacks include items like the steak tartare made with 44 Farms beef, or the plancha-crisped blue crab cake. Daily 5-8pm

24 Diner: Diners aren't the usual suspects for a happy hour rendezvous, but 24 Diner just rolled out a new lineup and we're all about it: $4 avocado toast, $5 sandwiches, $3 well drinks, $2.50 canned beers, half-off bottles of wine and more. Mon-Fri 2:30-6:30pm
