A cold front has already moved back in, but that's not going to stop us from partaking in our regularly scheduled brunch this weekend. You might have a go-to spot, but there are a couple new brunch happenings in town that are perfect for venturing outside your comfort zone. Check out these three new morning meals:

Bidi Bidi Brunch Brunch is popping up at El Chilito on Sunday starting at 11am on Manor Road. Mimosas, Mexican beer, cold-brewed coffee, tacos, micheladas and tamales—all between $1 and $5—will be on hand, along with a taco-themed photobooth, art for sale and music from the late, great Selena.

You know how Lamberts has a pretty bomb Sunday brunch already? Well, they've made it even better with some new additions—and just started offering it on Saturdays as well. Starting at 11am, the downtown BBQ spot will serve dishes like Lamberts old school benedict (Canadian bacon, shaved tomato, poached eggs, spicy hollandaise, watercress salad) and oak grilled shrimp and grits with collards, espelette butter and soft boiled eggs.

Coast Kitchen and Bar has flipped into Nueces Kitchen and Bar, officially opening this past week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Stop by between 8:30 and 11am each day for breakfast tacos as well as specialty tacos (like the steak and egg with goat cheese, red pepper and cilantro) and breakfast sandwiches.
