You may not consider wine the drink of choice while listening to hip-hop, but let's be real: gin and juice has had its moment. It's time to give the grapes a chance.

Aviary Wine & Kitchen is taking it back on December 11 with Krush Juice, an ’80s/’90s hip-hop party complete with a dance floor where b-boys and b-girls can bust a move (Seriously. They're removing all the tables and chairs and laying down a slicked-up linoleum floor.). A $25 ticket gets you entry into the event, which includes a tasting of six to eight wines from Vine St. Imports. Sip and swirl while the sweet, sweet tunes of Run-DMC, Kurtis Blow, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Grandmaster Flash and more set the mood.

Want to keep the party going after the tasting? Discounted bottles will be available for $25, $35 and $45. So yeah, channel your inner Slick Rick. Pop those bottles. After a few more glasses, you'll probably be inspired to try out some moves you didn't think you had. You do you, my friend.

If you find a wine you're especially enamored with, you'll be able to fill out a retail sheet and purchase a bottle (or three) directly from Aviary. Fine Southern Gentleman will also be on hand, screen printing custom T-shirts.

Krush Juice takes place on December 11 from 9pm to midnight. Tickets can be purchased here.
