Before the holidays, Austin jam company Confituras opened their first brick-and-mortar on South Lamar, selling homemade jams, biscuits, coffee from Little City Coffee Roasters and more morning treats. The hours were a little wonky at first, but today is the official first day of full service, so can stop by from Wed-Fri, 7am-2pm, and Sat, 8am-2pm, at 2129 Goodrich Ave.

Take a lunch break at Women & their Work Gallery to catch the last week of "Good Days and Bad Days on the Internet." Artist Rachel Stuckey uses powerful visuals—video, projection mapping, video signal manipulation—to discuss the obsession our modern world has with the internet as well as with technology at large. The gallery is open from 10am to 6pm.

Free Week continues with some stellar acts tonight, including Annabelle Chairlegs and Vampyre at Mohawk (outdoor and indoor, respectively) starting at 6:30pm. You'll also be able to find Ringo Deathstarr at Empire Garage, plus SMiiLE with Thor & Friends and the Kraken Quartet at Mohawk. Enjoy the music for free, but remember to tip your bartenders!
