Looking to grab a drink after work? Family Business Beer Co.—a new brewery out in Dripping Springs—officially opens today. (Psst. You may see one of the co-owners, Supernatural's Jensen Ackles, roaming the 15-acre property.) Order one of their signature beers, like the malty Haulin’ Oats, then enjoy the afternoon on the brewery's picturesque patio. Family Business opens from 3-10pm today.

And in more beer news: You can actually work for your beer at the East Side Beer Runners Run, where runners (aspiring and serious) meet on the patio at Hops and Grain at 6:30pm before taking off on a three- to five-mile run. Your reward? Your first beer is on the house once you return.

Gain energy for the rest of the week by dancing your heart out at Empire Control Room, where Create Culture is putting on another one of their excellent audio and visual psychedelic showcases. Get lost in the sounds of Psydell, Smoke Sesh Crew and Hermetick, with visuals by Vision Reactor. The show starts at 9pm.
