Sean Penn's novel, Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff, has received, uh, mixed reviews. But if you're a fan of the actor, or just curious to see if he'll chain smoke in a church, head to the Central Presbyterian Church at 7pm tonight to see for yourself. Douglas Brinkley, a history professor at Rice University, will interview the Academy Award winner; a copy of the book is included with the ticket price.

Ever dreamed of careening around a course in a race car? Now you can come close, albeit a bit more slowly. From 6pm until dark every Tuesday, cyclists can bike around the Circuit of The Americas track during Bike Night. Take the 20 turns over 3.4 miles at your own pace—or try to beat your friends. Registration required.

The universe lost one of its most incredible residents when Stephen Hawking died on March 14. Tonight, the Alamo Drafthouse Mueller is remembering him with a 7:30pm screening of The Theory of Everything, based on the book by Jane Hawking, Traveling to Infinity: My Life With Stephen. Donations are $5, which will go toward the Stephen Hawking Foundation, and tickets can be purchased here.
