If you're an Austin local, you've probably passed by Daniel Johnston's "Hi, How Are You?" mural at Guadalupe and 21st Street countless times. You know the one: Jeremiah the Innocent, a squatting frog, is roughly painted below the question "Hi, How Are You," as he is on Johnston's 1983 album that the artist and musician produced during a nervous breakdown. Tonight, the Hi How Are You Foundation wants every Austinite to ask themselves that question at the inaugural "Hi, How Are You?" Day. The event takes place at the Mohawk starting at 6:30pm, an evening that celebrates and encourages awareness around mental wellness. Catch the Moving Panoramas, Kathy McCarty, Cowboy Diplomacy, Jane Ellen Bryant, Will Courtney, Josh T. Pierson and more.

Industry night is back at Frank with a tiki party and pig roast to kick your Monday night up a notch. In the upstairs tiki lounge, a tropical menu is curated by Isaac Acosta, there's a free pig roast, a piñata smash, live music from Beige Watch and DJ Ziggy Gonzo, and more.

Want to brush up on your salsa skills? Las Perlas, a downtown mezcaleria, is debuting its new Salsa Nights series tonight, starting at 7pm with instructor Robbie Sky teaching both salsa and bachata. Classes are donation based, with an encouraged $10 minimum; once 9pm hits the dance floor opens to everyone for no-cover salsa dancing.
