It's the weekend! You've worked hard to get to this point, so you deserve to play hard, too. We've curated our favorite events happening around Austin for the next few days, from pop-ups to festivals to grand openings—all you have to do is round up your crew. Have a great weekend, y'all!

Fri 26

State of the Uterus: A Party for Progress
Gather your lady friends, your dudes who love their lady friends, your mom—screw it, round up the whole neighborhood—for #bossbabesATX's second annual State of the Uterus. Raise some moola for nonprofits invested in reproductive health, menstrual health and community health at this fundraiser featuring speakers (Wendy Davis will be speaking around 7pm!), dancing, tarot readings, hair stylings, a photo booth and more. Fri at 6pm

Harlem Globetrotters
Watch the famed New York City basketball team dunk, dribble, pass and leap across the court in this Austin stop on this—what else?—world tour. Fri at 7pm

A Very Rude Salon
Eat, drink and then get ready to discuss the experimental and creative process with the likes of a choreographer, geneticist, writer and more. Held by the Rude Mechs crew, this good ol’ fashioned salon meet-up was inspired after the production company worked with Duke scientists for their play Now Now Oh Now. Fri at 7pm

Sat 27

TreeFolks Tree Giveaway
If you've been looking for some trees to spruce up your backyard, you'll need to hit up this giveaway. Head to ACC's Northridge Campus, where TreeFolks will be offering free flora for anyone who is an Austin Energy customer (bring a photo ID or a bill). Trees include fig, citrus, red oak, Mexican plum, pomegranate and more. The trees are all around three- to five-feet tall, so be sure you have space in your car. Sat at 9am

Kenneth Tom Olsen opening reception
Take in a bit of art this weekend with a visit to Art on 5th's Kenneth Tom Olsen exhibition. The Danish artist returns to Austin for the opening reception of his show. RSVP required. Sat at 7pm

Sun 28

80th Anniversary at Quality Seafood Market
Happy 80th, Quality Seafood! Help celebrate the seafood spot with free appetizers, a live Zydeco band and a cash bar. Stock up on those oysters—they're some of the best in town. Sun at 4pm

Somms Under Fire
At the seventh annual Somms Under Fire, advanced sommeliers Nick Davis, Michael Deschamps and Jill Zimorski will match wines with dishes from The Carillon's executive chef. They're doing it in front of a panel of judges, but you'll also be able to taste the wine and food pairings along with the experts. Don't forget to raise your glass to the winner. Sun at 7pm
