It's the weekend! You've worked hard to get to this point, so you deserve to play hard, too. We've curated our favorite events happening around Austin for the next few days, from pop-ups to festivals to grand openings—all you have to do is round up your crew. Have a great weekend, y'all!

Fri 23

Breakfast for Dinner with Bird Bird Biscuit
We're still anxiously waiting for Bird Bird Biscuit to open their brick-and-mortar on Manor, but until then we'll have to do with their delicious pop-ups. Take tonight's event, for example: Breakfast for Dinner, held at Hops & Grain, where you'll be able to buy some of their phenomenal breakfast sandwiches from 5 to 8pm. Pair it with one of the brewery's IPAs and you've got yourself a solid breakfast, er, dinner. Fri at 5pm

We Got Issues: 09
Head to the Volcom tonight for Almost Real Things Nonprofit Magazine's release party, celebrating their 9th issue. After flipping through the art zine, grab some drinks, shop the art market, dance and meet some of Austin's most creative minds. Fri at 8pm

Sat 24

Austin Oyster Festival
Slurp's up! The Austin Oyster Festival returns this year to a new location at Seaholm, offering grilled, roasted, raw and fried variations along with a Bloody Mary bar and beer, wine and spirits. Tastings get creative—ever tried a crispy oyster banh mi sandwich or oyster bread pudding? Now's your chance. Sat at noon

Fais Do-Do and Gumbo Cook-Off
Farmhouse Delivery is back with its sixth annual cook-off that benefits Urban Roots, a youth development organization that uses food to inspire and engage communities. Luckily for you, helping the kids is a delicious task: gorge on some gumbo, throw back some Real Ale beer and tap your toes to the Gulf Coast Playboys. Laissez le bon temps roulerSat at 1pm

Sun 25

Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour
Banff is coming to Austin! Explore remote landscapes and cultures and hang from mountain faces—all from the comfort of your seat at this mountain film festival. Proceeds support Texas State Parks. Sun at 6pm
