Doing some online shopping while you're stuck inside today? Good news (er, or bad news for your wallet): SXSW 2018 Music Festival wristbands just went on sale.

For $169, the wristbands—which can be purchased here—are only available to Austin area residents (a credit card with a billing zip code in the Greater Austin area is required at purchase) and allows entry to all of the festival showcases after those with Music and Platinum Badges have been allowed in. The catch? If a venue is already at capacity, the wristband won't guarantee access—so your best bet is to get in line early for each show. A few other items to note: you're only allowed to purchase two wristbands, refunds and name transfers are not offered, and you'll need a valid ID when picking up your purchase.

SXSW has been gradually releasing the names of artists performing at this year's festival, which runs from March 12 to 18 (last year, over 2,000 artists from 63 countries performed). While there are still announcements to be made, the lineup is already looking pretty stellar: Brownout, Cut Chemist, Kosha Dillz, Andrew W.K., Porches and Wyclef Jean, to name a few.

Music Festival wristbands will sell out quickly—race you to checkout?
