Winter may be a slow time for festivals in Austin, but it's definitely not a slow time for festival announcements. JMBLYA just announced that they'll be returning to Dallas, Houston and Austin this summer, and presale tickets are already going on sale today at 10am.
The fest, which featured the likes of Chance the Rapper, Gucci Mane, Steve Aioki, Snow Tha Product and more last year, will be coming to Austin on May 5 (though a location hasn't been determined yet). The 2018 lineup hasn't been released, so these are blind presale tickets—but at $25, what have you got to lose?
A couple improvements will be made over 2017's fest, namely expanded water filling stations (with free water), double the amount of food vendors in GA as well as additional vendors in VIP, an expanded number of bars and more shade structures to avoid the sun.
While additional GA tickets will go on sale at a later date, a few more ticket options are available today at 10am: Pinky Rang VIP ($99), which offers expedited entry through the VIP entrance, a premium VIP viewing area and access to the VIP-only bar and air-conditioned bathrooms; Gator Boots VIP ($129), which includes Pinky Rang perks plus complimentary festival merch; and Fur Coat VIP ($299), which also includes the chance to watch performances from a private elevated viewing deck (plus an official JMBLYA hoodie!).
JMBLYA will also be making a stop in Dallas on May 4 and, for the first time since 2013, in Houston on May 6. Snag your tickets here, and start counting down the days.
