There's a lot of cool stuff that goes on at SXSW, but this latest announcement has us anticipating the annual event even more. HBO is launching a Westworld theme park of sorts, building the entire town across two acres for Conference and Festival badge holders to explore from March 9 through March 11.

Fans of the dark, futuristic show will find themselves immersed in eerily familiar set locations, like the Coronado Hotel and Mariposa Saloon. They'll also be able to hunt for clues to Season 2, interact with hosts and dine on Western-inspired food and drink. Even the experience of getting to the Westworld pop-up is an adventure: Once they've registered, they'll be picked up in a Delos Shuttle at the EastSide Tavern and driven right outside of Austin to Westworld's fictional town of Sweetwater. They'll then be assigned a black or white hat before entering the world without guides or instructions. (Go West, young man! Just don't get killed.) Each visit lasts roughly two hours.

To register, head to DiscoverWestworld.com—slots are filling up quickly. If you can't register in time, HBO is partnering with Lyft to offer fans a secret code, which gets them a free ride to the park plus additional surprises.

Check out a teaser for the Westworld activation below:
