We love the small, homegrown feel of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, but change is good—especially when it comes in the form of 14 new flights from our beloved airport.

Frontier Airlines recently announced that they were launching a handful of new flight routes to and from Austin, seven of them non-stop. The new routes are as follows:

Albuquerque, N.M.
Buffalo, N.Y. (nonstop)
Charleston, S.C. (nonstop)
Detroit
Indianapolis
Jacksonville, Fla. (nonstop)
Milwaukee (MKE) (nonstop)
Minneapolis-St. Paul
Omaha, Neb. (nonstop)
Portland, Ore.
Providence (nonstop)
Reno, Nev. (nonstop)
Seattle
Tampa, Fla

These flights will launch in April with fares as low as $29 each way, and to celebrate, the airline is running a contest offering two roundtrip tickets to any of their 30 destinations.

Frontier is known for offering a base flight price that you can then build upon, purchasing bags and seat selections on top of your ticket. Some love it, some don't, but hey: you can't knock a $29 flight.
