Cotton mogul William Braxton Barr and his wife, Tillie Birdwell, built this ornate Victorian home in 1898. More than a decade later, it was converted into a special events facility that's home to ornamental and edible gardens and a ballroom built from a reclaimed 18th century Dutch barn in New York. Today it hosts supper clubs, weddings and other events.
