In the age-old battle of NY-style versus Detroit-style pizza, there are truly only two worthy contenders in Austin: Home Slice and Via 313. But what if you love them both? What if, like a Montague falling in love with a Capulet, you just want to create a world where the two can coexist peacefully—and under the same roof, no less?

Enter the final night of Home Slice Pizza's DOUGHvember, a charity-driven event that has been taking place each Tuesday throughout the month at Home Slice. On November 28—DOUGHvember's final night—Home Slice will partner with Via 313 to create collaborative pizzas, blending the best of both worlds. Diners will be able to try Via 313’s classic cheese pizza and The Detroiter, both fired up in the Home Slice oven, along with a NY-style version of Via 313's The 500 and a Detroit-style version of Home Slice's Classic #5 (pepperoni and mushroom). This is what world peace tastes like.

In addition to the 'za, Pinthouse Brewing will provide Old Beluga Amber Ale to wash everything down. There will be raffle drawings to win pizza for an entire year, and 20 percent of the event proceeds will benefit No Kid Hungry, an organization that strives to end child hunger in America. A night of Austin's best pizza for a good cause? We're all about it.

The final DOUGHvember event will take place at Home Slice on Tuesday, November 28, from 5-11pm at the dine-in side.
