Fact: Yoga is beneficial in releasing stress.
Fact: Baby goats are adorable.
(Probable) Fact: Practicing yoga with baby goats might make your heart explode with happiness.
At least that's what Goga, a new goat yoga class from Rachael Phillips and Trey Kitchen, hopes to encourage. The two launched Goga at the beginning of September in partnership with 2CrazyGoatLadies and various ATX yoga instructors, hosting their first donation-based class this past Sunday (all profits were donated to Hurricane Harvey relief). Pygmy Nigerian Dwarf goats climbed on attendees' backs, roamed around yoga mats and generally made people feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
This isn't the first time goat yoga has popped up around the country—the concept has also appeared in Georgia, New Hampshire, Oregon and other states, plus Dallas—but it's the first time it has made an appearance in Austin. And we're all on board.
Just take a look at these adorable photos from Austin's first Goga class and tell us you're not feeling all the feels:
The goats wear workout clothes, just like us.
They have workout buddies, who totally know how sore they're feeling.
They help keep your form on point.
They strut their stuff after mastering a pose.
They air out their sweaty laundry.
Goats: They're just like us.
