It seems like a new brunch option pops up every week in Austin (what can we say, we like our eggs served mid-day), but with all that brunch banter, how do you decide where to rally the troops over the weekend? We're dissecting Austin's brunch scene to bring you the best new options in the city, whether you're a fan of decadent French toast or just want that bottomless mimosa buzz.

Pitchfork Pretty: The east side restaurant dedicated to Hill Country cuisine recently launched Sunday brunch, when chef Max Snyder whips up items like crab toast, steak and eggs, and a white chocolate waffle (drool). There are brunch cocktails as well, of course—Bloody Marys, micheladas and more. Sunday 10am-2pm

Native: Brisket tacos, chilaquiles, Scotch eggs and cardamom French toast have all made the cut at Native Hostel's new weekend brunch, along with beverages like the Rosemary Gibson (gin, house brine, vermouth) and the Bolt and Sand (mezcal, cherry herring, sweet vermouth, orange juice, blood orange soda). Saturday & Sunday 10am-3pm

Ghost Hill Restaurant: Treaty Oak Distilling just opened their adjacent Ghost Hill Restaurant, serving lunch, dinner and brunch to a weekend crowd that enjoys gorgeous Hill Country views with their meal. Try the incredible duck confit tacos or brisket banh mi, then take a stroll through the grounds or sit at a picnic table while sipping on Treaty Oak's finest beer and liquor. Saturday & Sunday starting at noon

Jeffrey's: Jeffrey's is permanently bringing back Alex Manley's Sunday Bagel Brunch, a family-style affair that launches this weekend. You'll find bagels (obvs), smoked fish, scrambled eggs and a pastry feast, with coffee from Stumptown and a caviar supplement for a cool extra $60 (regular tickets are $40, and you can get them here). Sunday at 11:30am
