Heard of Yes We Can Wine? Contrary to what you might think, it's not a hip politician trying to sway votes with wine varietals, but a canned wine company from William Chris Vineyards' co-founder Chris Brundrett and Lost Draw Cellars' co-founder Andrew Sides. And they've just come up with a new wine that'll take your tubing adventure up a notch: canned rosé.

Sway Rosé bills itself as the first Texas-grown canned rosé in the state, a medium-bodied, dry rosé that's canned in Hye. The rosé is fun and fruity, with notes of guava, passionfruit and strawberries.

“We are trying to break the stigma that wine should be enjoyed in high-end settings," says Sides. "It’s our way of telling people that it’s OK for wine to be fun.” Sides says.

The can sports a simple, clean design; a cursory glance might have you thinking that it's sparkling water or a chic energy drink, but at 12.3 ABV it'll leave you pretty buzzed after one can. Sway Rosé comes in three-packs and can be found throughout Central Texas.

“Texas wine is having a moment right now and we're excited to be a part of it,” says Brundrett. “Sway Rosé is a rallying call to Texans who are ready for the next great thing.”

Bottoms up.
