If you've walked by Waller Creek at night in the past few days, you may have noticed an ethereal glow coming from the area. Don't worry, you're not stoned (I mean, maybe you are, but there's an added explanation). The annual Waller Creek Creek Show, presented by the Waller Creek Conservancy, launched over the weekend and has already dazzled Austinites with its six stunning, light-based art instillations: “No Lifeguard on Duty” (Asakura Robinson), “Night Garden” (DWG.), “Blind Spot” (Two+Collaborative), “Fotan Fable” (Ha Architecture), “Ephemeral Suspension” (Pathos + Touch To) and “Submerge” (Davey McEathron Architecture + Studio Lumina + Drophouse). The event stretches along Waller Creek from 5th Street to 8th Street, and will be on display until November 18. Be sure to stop by the Creek Show Lounge (700 E 6th St, nightly from 6 to 10pm), and any of the other events (artist talks, parties) that are part of the show. Until then, here's a peek at some of the dazzling works lighting up Austin:
