UPDATE: ACL has just added Jay Z to the 2017 lineup. Yeah. That just happened.

Mornin', folks! If you're wondering why you woke up feeling all warm and fuzzy, let us clue you in: The Austin City Limits 2017 lineup is finally here.
ACL's lineup was released at the crack of dawn, and man, it's a funky one. Headliners include California rock staples Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chicago's golden boy Chance the Rapper, The Killers and Gorillaz (If you're wondering why Gorillaz, who you may not have paid attention to since the early aughts, are making an appearance—they released a star-studded EP last month). Other top acts include Ryan Adams, Solange, The XX, Martin Garrix and Ice Cube. Run the Jewels, who performed at the fest in 2015, are back again, and October's fest is also being graced with the likes of The Head & the Heart, Foster the People and Austin stalwart Spoon.
Noticeably absent are big-name electronic bands highlighting the fest; last year saw both Flume and M83 headlining, and other festivals (ahem, Coachella) have been on an electronic music kick as of late. But the lineup is also pretty similar to this year's Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, where Chance, The Killers, The XX and Run the Jewels will all be headlining.
ACL takes place over two weekends: October 6-8 and October 13-15 at Zilker Park. Three-day passes for both weekends go on sale at 10am today, while one-day passes will go on sale at a later date. It's going to cost you: a weekend pass is $255, which gives you access to over 180 performances on eight stages. But if you want to take it up a notch, VIP passes are also on sale this morning for $1100, which includes perks like mini spa treatments all weekend, access to the VIP Grove, air conditioned restrooms, complimentary WiFi and more.
