Welcome to the neighborhood, Pool Burger!

You probably know McGuire Moorman Hospitality by their other popular restaurants—Clark's, Lamberts, Perla's, Elizabeth St Café, just to name a few—but the group just got into the fast casual game by pairing up with Will Bridges of Deep Eddy Caberet to open Pool Burger, a tiki bar and burger trailer sandwiched between the dive bar and Deep Eddy Pool

The trailer specializes in burgers (obvi) and soft serve, while the bar is rife with tropical tiki drinks—essentially, everything you need to pretend it's still summer. An expansive burger menu offers everything from the classics (the Pool Burger, Pool Cheeseburger and Hippy Burger featuring a veggie patty) to some more decked out options, like the Loyal Forever (double cheeseburger, pickled jalapeños), the Deep End (triple burger with Swiss cheese, bacon, jalapeños) or the Dazed & Confused (veggie patty, American cheese, bacon, guacamole). Homemade soft serve flavors include dark chocolate, Tahitian vanilla or swirl, and you can also get crinkle cut fries or pool chips with guac and jalapeño pimento (what can we say, Pool Burger really loves its jalapeño).

As for the tiki drinks, you'll find solid standbys like Mai Tais and frozen Hurricanes, complete with umbrellas and all the garnishes. Basically, it's perfect pool fare.

Pool Burger, located at 2315 Lake Austin Boulevard, opens daily at noon and closes at 10pm on Monday through Thursday, midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 6pm on Sunday (Bonus: on the weekends, DJs will be playing dancehall on vinyl).
