Breakfast: Best meal of the day. Don't agree? Maybe this will change your mind: For three days in October, a few of Austin's best restaurants are joining BreakfastClub, a global event series founded by Trends on Trends honoring the day's most important meal. Basically, it's a community meal for creative folks—and you're all invited.

Chefs at three Austin restaurants that don't usually offer breakfast—La Barbecue, Odd Duck and Lenoir—have been challenged to create their dream breakfast into a fast food bag that includes a main dish, two sides, coffee or tea and a special prize inside. The objective is to see how a chef known for his or her dinner acumen translates breakfast into an intimate event ranging from 20 to 50 people.

Tickets, which go for $30 per BreakfastClub event, can be purchased on Tock, and are available on the following dates: October 10 (La Barbecue), October 11 (Odd Duck) and October 12 (Lenoir). They'll only be in six cities this year—NYC, LA, Miami, SF, Portland and Austin—so we'd recommend jumping on this pop-up while it's here.
