[title]It's no surprise that Austin is revered for its vast bank of watering holes, its cocktail bars, dive bars, wine bars and breweries that keep this city thoroughly hydrated. To celebrate these places—and the ultra-talented bartenders that keep them running—we're throwing our very first Time Out Austin Bar Awards.
The Time Out Bar Awards take place in cities across the globe, and for Austin's first year participating, we've enlisted the help of local industry experts to help us narrow down the categories and nominees. The winners will be announced at our Bar Awards celebration on June 19, but until then, we recommend that you support our finalists by drinking your way through each bar—it's possibly the best kind of homework we'll ever give you.
