If you’ve been passing by Bar Lamar but never entering while shopping at the downtown Whole Foods, you’d better start making up for lost time. Global beverage buyer Devon Broglie, one of only a few master sommeliers in the world, is responsible for the rotating wine list and, thanks to the Corvine wine tool (which allows bars to pour small amounts without having to open the whole bottle), high end wines can be offered by the glass or in $35 flights. Note that any bottle can be taken off the shelf and enjoyed at retail price with no corkage fee.
