Austin’s new multimillion-dollar library has recently opened, and while there’s plenty to explore—a rooftop garden, tech labs, reading porches—the first gallery to inhabit the space is well worth a visit on its own. Internationally revered collage artist Letscher cuts and rearranges scraps of books, letters, album covers and recipes to craft abstract art. More than 35 pieces are on display.
