Be among the first to see "Austin," the last work by artist Ellsworth Kelly and the Blanton's newest permanent exhibition. The 2,715-square-foot stone building with colored glass windows, a totemic wood sculpture and fourteen black and white marble panels was intended to be a site for joy and contemplation. Austin mayor Steve Adler, University of Texas president Greg Fenves and more will participate in a brief opening ceremony before a curtor talk at 2pm. RSVP required.
