Banff Mountain Film Festival Atlanta

Join REI and The Georgia Conservancy on Sunday, March 8 for two-installments of the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour. Banff Mountain Film Fest is the largest and most recognized name in adventure and environmental films - bringing together movie-goers from all 7 continents! Yes, even Antarctica! Each installment (1 PM and 7 PM) will feature different films. Georgia Conservancy's (out)House Band, City Mouse, will perform at intermission around 4 p.m. All proceeds from the March 8 screenings will go to support the Georgia Conservancy's Heartland Rivers of Georgia Paddle Series. This year's tour features a collection of the most inspiring and though-provoking action, environmental, and adventure mountain films. Traveling from remote landscapes and cultures to up close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports, the 2014/2015 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.
