Even for first-time visitors, exploring Kuala Lumpur's top attractions is easy enough thanks to its modern mass rapid transit (MRT) and light rapid transit (LRT) train systems and bus network. It's pretty affordable too, with a MyCity one-day pass starting at just RM10.

Now, Malaysia's RapidKL has launched a new tourist pass offering unlimited public transport use in Klang Valley (Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Putrajaya) from just RM20. Called the MyTourist Pass, it's available to Malaysians and foreigners and applies to all MRT, LRT, monorail, bus rapid transit, and bus and feeder bus services, so you have tons of options when getting around the region.

Malaysians get a slightly sweeter deal: the one-day, two-day, and three-day pass costs RM20, RM30, and RM40 respectively. For foreigners, it costs RM40, RM60, and RM80 respectively. If you purchase a pass between now and December 9 though, you'll get it at a special opening offer. The three-day pass costs just RM65 for tourists now, for example.

If you needed extra incentive to get out and exploring, there are additional perks. MyTourist Pass holders get to enjoy discounts at selected attractions and partner brands. Get some dollars off the entry fee Wetland Studios Putrajaya, Sunway Lagoon, or to the Menara KL observation deck and sky park, just to name a few. There are also dining discounts at Ombak Kitchen, TGI Fridays, Koppiku, and more, alongside shopping vouchers at selected malls.

You can easily purchase the MyTourist Pass at any MRT, LRT, monorail, and bus rapid transit service counter or at selected bus hubs. The passes are also available online at MyRapid Shop and the MyRapid Pulse app.
