With the holiday mood descending, we've got our eyes on world-class destinations and off-the-beaten-track gems in Asia. Frankly, there's so much to explore in the region – all that's needed is some seriously cheap tickets to sweeten the deal.

Well, Christmas has come early with the return of AirAsia's 'Free Seats' promotion. The quarterly regional sale is slinging 12 million discounted seats to more than 130 destinations, opening a whole lot of affordable travel options across Asia, such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Langkawi, Penang, Jakarta, and more. These promotional seats are open for booking between now and November 10, for travel between April 21, 2025 and March 28, 2025.

To caveat, the seats are not actually free: the promotion applies to the base fare, so you'll still have to foot airport taxes, fuel surcharges, and other fees. But hey, we're not complaining when all-in fares start at a mere USD 50 one-way.

If you're dreaming of travelling somewhere a little further, you might want to look at AirAsia's Big Sale instead. This concurrent promotion could have you on the way to an epic hike via Kathmandu, shopping for skincare in Seoul, or scuba diving off Labuan Bajo in the Komodo Marine Park for as low as USD 90 all-in one-way. The only catch is a short stopover at Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok (Don Mueang) airport.

You can book your next holiday now via airasia.com or the AirAsia MOVE app. If you have one, whip out your DBS or POSB card for this to get an additional discount of approximately USD 40, with a minimum spend of USD 190.
