A good option for budget travellers who just want a place to kip down at night, this dinky, ten-roomed hotel is right near the city's nightlife and foodie Utrechtsestraat, and has helpful and friendly staff. The physically less able should note that the stairs are positively vertiginous - luggage is hauled up on a pully. Rooms themselves are simple, and some have shared facilities, but they're all clean and tidy. Some of the rooms also have canal views - and they don't attract a premium, either.
