Time Out says

Part of the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Dunstan Playhouse was named after the socially progessive South Australian premier Don Dunstan, who was a champion for the arts, public education, LGBTQIA and Indigenous rights in the '60s and '70s. It's been the home of the State Theatre Company of SA since 1974, and like Baby Bear's porridge, the venue is just right for anything that requires a stage, good sightlines and that you want up to 620 people to witness. Go here to experience cutting-edge theatre, comedy, dance, cabaret, concerts, seminars and conferences.
