Adelaide Festival Centre

For 11 months of the year Adelaide is a leafy, relatively quiet capital city. During the creative confluence that is Adelaide Festival, WomAdelaide, and the Fringe Festival during February and March, the whole city becomes embraces performance of all stripes, and a whole lot of it is centred at the Adelaide Festival Centre, a sprawling performing arts venue that hosts everything from cabaret to food and wine festivities. Venues at the festival centre include the Dunstan Playhouse, the Festival Theatre, Her Majesty's Theatre, the Artspace, Space Theatre and the Amphitheatre. You might find yourself heading here for an author's talk, a dance recital, a one-woman show, an international touring artist or a musical production. It's all conveniently in the one spot, which makes injecting a little more culture into your schedule all the easier.
