The superior refurb that happened here a few years ago is still looking good. Head for the surprisingly polished Fedora’s restaurant if you’re hungry (the short-crust lamb backstrap with spiced beetroot, goats cheese and baby spinach is a real winter warmer) or work your way through the 17-plus tap beers at the bar. They've done well to accomodate all tastes, with a crowd-pleasing balance of share plates, pub faves and health-conscious 'clean eats' on the menu. You won't hurt for choice - a jumbo-sized list of cocktails covers all the classics (it's not about 'experimental' smoking potions and sugary fancy here, just foolproof and refreshing) and the wine list is not only comprehensive but also loyal, coming almost entirely from South Australia. It's a drinking and dining destination in equal parts, and occasional live music adds it all up to a happy equation.
