Yard Bird

American-style diner food gets mixed with Ghanaian spices and a funky environment in this restaurant concept from the same team as Coco Lounge and Santoku. After a slight menu adjustment, it’s now widened its offering and will serve a few more Ghanaian dishes, albeit with a Yard Bird twist. As the great branding attests, the flagship dish is fried chicken with Yard Bird’s own special spices. The sweet, sticky ribs fall off the bone and are pretty special too. The location out on the Spintex Road attracts a steady lunchtime and after-work crowd.
